Miten syntyi Jean Sibeliuksen Finlandia? Miten syntyi Eino Leinon rakastetuin runo Lapin kesä?

Eino Leino hurmaa tarinoillaan. Runoruhtinas on huippusuosittu esitys. Tyyli on hulvaton, mutta faktat pitävät.

How was born Jean Sibelius's Finlandia? How was born Eino Leino's most beloved poem Lapin kesä (Lapland summer)? What kind of meaning for Finland was the Paris World's Fair in 1900? What kind of scandal  Jean Sibelius and Eino Leino, the most celebrated artists, was organized by the Kalevala Day celebrations in 1920?

The Tuusula lake regions and especially the road going along the lake shore called Tuusulan Rantatie is a gateway to Finnish cultural history. This artist community, which was formed in this lake region in the late nineteenth century, is unique even on a world scale. Usually these communities were founded by painters and sculptors, but this one represented all arts, sciences, journalism, business and the militia. Everyone had a common goal; Finnish language, Finnish spirit, freedom from Russian oppression. There were dreams of independence and as the European painter Albert Edelfelt had already said in the 1880’s: “ A nation cannot be independent unless it has it’s own identity” So these temperamental artists, both men and women, decided to create this identity. “With the sword of spirit against the oppressor” said master composer Jean Sibelius. The basis of this came from our mythical epic Kalevala. From this and naturally, from European culture, came the drive for our spiritual struggle for independence. Many upper class Swedish speaking Finns went so far as to change their spoken language to Finnish on principle. I will tell you about the houses and people around the lake region My name is Leino, Eino Leino, and although my motto is “only my modesty exceeds my charm”, even today I am considered to be the most loved poet in Finland.
Shortcut to Finnish culture history by poet Eino Leino. The Runoruhtinas tells the stories of the nation's rising stars during the tsarist tyranny. Early 1900s colorful artist personas created a new national spirit and prepared the ground for Finnish independence. On the other hand, many of them were disreputable for their bohemian lifestyle. Eino Leino tells his charming and sparkling way about symposion brothers and sisters in Tuusula Lake Road and the Artists restaurants in Helsinki. The Runoruhtinas (The Prince of Poems) is hugely popular presentation. The style is free, but based on facts.

Haluatko mieluummin kuulla tarinat Kultakauden taiteilijoista Jean Sibeliuksen kertomana? Tyyli on hivenen arvokkaampi, mutta yhtä lennokas.
